Craft ideas for the 4th of July

Do you have a little one who may not be as excited to hear the fireworks, but loves to see them. Check out this great craft that I found on Pinterest . That lets you have all the fun of seeing (and making) the fireworks, without the noise.  Heck, I bet it's even fun for older ones as well. If you are having an all day party, this may be a great option for entertaining.

July 4th Snack Attack

So yesterday we posted a great drink recipe for the 4th of July. Here is a great and simple snack for your gathering this week.  It's so simple and quick to make. Just get your strawberries, blueberries and marshmallows. You can make some yummy biscuits or croissants and cut out the star shape on top. Place on some kabobs sticks and you are good to go! Have fun with this tasty treat.

Looking for something a little bit easier than the fruit? Check out this cute idea as well. You just take cheese, pepperoni and blue tortilla chips and arrange in a flag pattern. How cute is this idea!

America's Best Cities for Raising a Family....check out #4!!!

Forbes recently released its list of America’s Best Cities for Raising a Family. If you’re thinking of settling down with your significant other and raising kids, these cities may be worth your consideration.
The magazine considered factors including school quality, median household income, and cost of living to arrive at its list of family-friendly locales.
But what kind of homes should you expect in one of these towns?
We found a home in each of the top 10 cities—and to make our list as family friendly as possible, we only considered houses with at least four bedrooms and three baths. And as a concession to families not living on a Champagne budget, each home on this list is offered at less than $500,000.
1. Raleigh, NC — 2720 Stratford Hall Drive, $425,000, 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 3,664 square feet.
