Forbes recently released its list of America’s Best Cities for Raising a Family. If you’re thinking of settling down with your significant other and raising kids, these cities may be worth your consideration.
The magazine considered factors including school quality, median household income, and cost of living to arrive at its list of family-friendly locales.
But what kind of homes should you expect in one of these towns?
We found a home in each of the top 10 cities—and to make our list as family friendly as possible, we only considered houses with at least four bedrooms and three baths. And as a concession to families not living on a Champagne budget, each home on this list is offered at less than $500,000.
