According to the Omaha
World Herald, Omaha is a pretty great place to live, work and play. Which of
course the majority of us who get to live, work or play here already knew
right! We are often know for tour hot spots such as the Omaha Henry Doorly Zoo
the Joslyn Art Museum , which are great way to spend the day with family and
friends, but did you know there is even more off the beaten path. So
let’s take the next few days and explore those great things about Omaha that
are off the beaten path.
33. Go Junkin'.

out in the fields of an old West Omaha Dairy farm near 192nd Street
and West Dodge Road. Enjoy three days of peace, love, music and junk

Many families of ducks inhabit the lakes of Omaha. Grab a handful
of oats or birdseed and make their day. Three popular lakes to feed these
feathery friends areCharlie's On the Lake, Boystown Reservoir Number 3,
and Gene Leahy Mall.

surprises that seem to pop out of nowhere. Turn off the highway and discover an
amazingly eclectic gift shop sprouting among the corn. Just 20 minutes away
from downtown Omaha, Saunders County offers a peaceful drive full of discovery.
