Restaurants pair brew with food for Craft Beer Week

This is American Craft Beer Week, and a number of local restaurants are celebrating by pairing beer with food. 

Tonight, the Crescent Moon Ale House will add a special “beer glaze” option to the wings on its regular Wing Fling night. On Friday, the restaurant will have a special housemade beer barbecue platter on special all day for $7.95. It comes with a beer-braised pulled pork sandwich with beer BBQ sauce, baked beans, cole slaw and cornbread. The special starts at 11 a.m. and continues while it lasts. On Sunday, the restaurant has an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet for $9.95. The Crescent Moon is at 36th and Farnam Streets.

On Sunday, Infusion Brewing Company will have a spaghetti lunch from noon to 3 p.m. for $10. The special includes pasta with meatballs, salad, a roll and beer. RSVP by calling 402-916-9998. Infusion is in Benson at 6115 Maple St. 

On Saturday, the Nebraska Brewing Company will serve breakfast at 10 a.m. It will have four courses, each served with an 8-ounce beer pairing. The event is limited to 30 diners and is $25 a person.
